Cabin Boys

I fear that this will soon be the end for me. The game is becoming unplayable, you are constantly making these "updates" which simply transfer the free items (available for in-game currency) to pay to win items. How long ago was it when cabin boys were available for pearls, then upon bringing out a new cannon with a faster reload you said you were going to remove cabin boys completely from the game. Realising this, you decided, no, let's find a way to mess everyone around by stopping people from buying them from the tavern and make them buy them with real money! For me, this was fine, because they were made available on events, Jolly roger etc. I don't see them anymore MATE... Now you have decided to make another stupid update again to get more money from people. This game is only going because of a few millionaires on each server, but what do you think is going to happen when they have no one to fight? Do you think they are going to spend any money on here? - Ha, you have got to be kidding me.
Removing cabin boys from the game completely seemed fair to me because everyone is treated equally, but now you have turned them into this stupid item that gives people who spend an awful lot of money, 25+ cannons, faster repair, extra range. Oh, i'm not done, what about gemini maps, +20 cannons, jolly roger legacy +10 cannons, kings legacy +10 cannons, ss3 available from "Special markets" +20 cannons on top of a ss1.
So +85 cannons just from spending money on this game. Well done guys, you played yourselves. And if you dare say to me "its your choice to spend money on this game, you can play for free" WAKE UP, What the hell are you talking about

 

This is another one of their shady tactics.they should review their bussiness model to reach a bigger market instead of a few people with lots of money.

 

Seriously, quit screwing with the game, there was no reason at all to even mess with the Cabinboys in the first place. How much time and $$$ have you wasted changing the cabinboys over and over again only to come up with this even more ridiculous solution of the CabinBoys.

Fix the problems with the game before u invent new ways to screw us players.

Game has been overrun with bots and players using glitch after glitch after glitch to gain unfair advantages in the game.

Why would i invest the $$$ needed to be competetive in this game when others just get it for free???

The only people spending this kind of $$$ on this game are the ones who dont ever need to worry about the In-Game currencies because they are free and attained with no actual effort on the part of the players who indeed use programs/bots/glitches. The only thing they need to buy are the $$$$ specific items that you jam down our throats always and forever.

Look at the ELP league, it is a prime example of how bad this game has gotten, same players making over 1 billion ELP in 30 days each and every month, how is this possible?

Get your priorities straight BigPoint, the amount of loyal players who loved and played this game faithfully have left is unreal, never have i seen so many cases of players who love the game, but cannot continue to play due to Developers time and time again destroying the game that we all love to play.

 

I have known this game since I as a kid and now I can tell by the knowledge I have collected since then that the way this company operates will cause its death due to lack of innovation (besides of making players pay for what they used to be able to get with game currency)-

 

As other players have said, I too refuse to buy even the cheap packs to get the crowns for Cabin Boys. It is a matter of principle. I will decide what I buy and do not buy. I will not let Bigpoint try to force me to buy items to play the game and stay competitive. I'll just play less. The customers still rule this game!

There is a problem with the Cabin Boys – The (new) buffs are not applied to many ships.

We are on it and will fix it as soon as possible.

Absolutely insane not to offer Cabin boys on regular basis!! Plus, i get the league buff for 8 days and the 10 cannons i got from that does not compare to the 25 cannons I lost with no cabin boys. Maybe I should seek the advice of international council to see what my options are when I am promised one thing in writing from BP, and they retract that written offer. Offering to buy them in a package with $$$ is not what they promised in writing!!! BTW, I have screen shots of all the original messages from BP, so they can go change whatever they want, I have my proof. This game is not about the players, its about the $$$$, and catering to the cheats.

 

always problems with cabin boys. you buy when like in freedom event and they gone i cant buy anymore is so bad please put cabin boys in black market for pearls or crowns.dont make game to bee come unliked.

 

i got same problem cant buy them either its not fair.
we spend 20euro or more a month to get kings legacy for 10 canons then they change cabin boys so we lose 25 canon and also range on ship.

you cant even buy them for money so really dont get reason for take them away from game

but if some1 can explain it for me then go ahead
