“Nidhugsheim” group game (A Whale of Time):

Once you have collected enough ancient emblems you are able to access the “Nidhugsheim” group map from the Safe Haven by speaking to Magnus Halbert.

After you choose the role you want to play (“Damage Dealer”, “Healer” and Tank”) and the team is full you are teleported to the group map where you face the two bosses “Nidhug” and “Hildisvini”.

    Each boss has two phases.

During phase 1 both bosses apply de-buffs (“Nidhug” applies a different de-buff than “Hildisvini”) on the player with the highest “Aggro” (tank). Each application increases the de-buff stack by one, that means the effect gets applied multiple times. Each de-buff stack prolongs the duration so the tanks should regularly switch bosses so the individual de-buffs don’t stack too high. Meanwhile the damage dealers should inflict damage (in the best case equally) to push both bosses into phase 2.

During both phases, the healer should heal the tanks.

The 2nd phase of each boss will start when they reach a certain amount of HP. During the 2nd phase Whale “Nidhug” submerge and whale hunters try to steal your loot by attacking the Whale. After the whale dies in this phase, he switches back to phase 1 again and your whole group is rewarded.

The group damage share treats the group as an own entity and share the loot equally in this group. Be sure to be in a group!

When “Hildisvini” switches into the second phase, he spawns “Freyja” minions which attack the whale hunters spawned by “Nidhug” and hereby save your loot. If there are none of them left, the “Freyja minions” de-spawn after a certain time (be aware when you bring which boss in phase 2!). As soon as any of the bosses dies (“Nidhug” or “Hildisvini”) the other one gets enraged. The boss who’s left spawns a zone underneath him which makes him stronger.

The players who do the last shot and most damage on Whale “Nidhug” have a chance to receive the whale pet (Pyke).

If both bosses are dead, all players are teleported back to the regular map again. If you don´t manage to kill both bosses your time is not shown up in the ranking.

    “Bloodfin’s Pool-Map” (In the Jaws):

Once you have collected enough ancient emblems you are able to access the “Bloodfin’s Pool-Map” from the Safe Haven by speaking to Magnus Halbert.

After you choose the role you want to play (“Damage Dealer”, “Healer” and Tank”) and the team is full you are teleported to the “Bloodfin’s Pool-Map”.

Upon entering the group map there is the main boss, “Bloodfin” and a victim, which is trapped by a small shark. Your goal is to kill “Bloodfin”, without the victim getting sunk. The victim receives periodically damage during your run. When the victim dies, the map is lost and you are teleported back to the normal map without the final loot. If the map is won (you kill the shark), the HP percentage of the victim defines the amount of loot you receive. Your healer should heal the victim at certain times during the run to increase your loot.

The shark has two phases and a final phase.

He switches into those if he has reached a certain amount of HP.

During the 1st phase he follows and deal a lot of damage to the player with the highest threat.
While he is attacking, he drops blood zones, which increases the attack speed of the shark and deal damage to the players. During this phase, the tank should move a lot, so the shark is moving constantly.

During the 2nd phase the shark dives down and attacks the highest thread from below with a zone. The player in the zone is trapped and isn´t able to move his ship. He receives periodically damage as well. Additionally, small sharks attack the victim. After you have killed all of them the 2nd phase ends and some loot is rewarded to all group members.

In the final phase of the shark he additionally spawns more tiger sharks. This tiger sharks attacks your group and don´t reward you with anything. The shark continuously spawns these tiger sharks until he is dead.

When the shark is dead, the map is finished and you are teleported back to normal map again. Depending on the HP percentage of your victim you receive the same percentage of loot (Pearls).

    “Snowman Crusher”:

Visit Magnus Halbert to get access to the “snowman” map, it costs magical emblems (the amount depends on how often you have played the mini game).

In the first phase, the “snowman” is in the middle of the map and doesn´t move. During that phase, you can shoot the “snowman”.

When the “snowman” has lost a certain amount of HP the 2. phase starts:

In the that phase, the “snowman” is not attackable. Presents and ice floe boxes spawn on the map. Ice floes provide you with a damage buff (during that phase) and presents move to the “snowman”, if they reach him, they heal the “snowman” and de-spawn.

The 2. phase ends when all presents are gone (healed the “snowman” or sunk) and the 1. phase starts again.

The mini game ends, when you get sunk or you sink the “snowman”.

When you sink the “snowman”, you are rewarded with Experience Points and Pearls.

    Arena fight (Dare to Dominate):

You can access the Arena by speaking to Magnus Halbert in any of the Safe Havens.

Every team has five team members.

After joining the map your design changes (it`s just a visual exchange, your gem stats stay) and you receive a buff. You also note three NPCs on the map which can be conquered by destruction. The team members need to shoot the monster to kill it.

On destruction, a new NPC spawns that belongs to the team.

The NPC attacks players by spawning small damage zones under a player. The zone stays for some seconds and causes damage to all players of the enemy team.

Each NPC gives points for the belonging team. That means the more NPCs the team has the faster the team get points.

Each minute the team also gets a certain amount of points for each NPC the team has.

The team that has reached 1.000 Points first wins the arena.

Points are also awarded for killing players of the enemy team.

In this phase, two zones appear in the map. One is representing the SUN and the other is representing the MOON.

Also, two minions spawn, Fenris and Cerberus. Amarok starts attacking Fenris.

The Phase ends if Fenris enters the SUN Zone or if Cerberus enters the MOON Zone.

    Phase 3:

Amarok changes his behaviour depending on which minion is reaching a specific zone.

    Amarok with Fenris

This is the same as the initial phase, BUT:
    • Fenris is trapped in the corresponding zone. He receives a 100% speed loss, and the zone vanishes.
    • Cerberus is attacking the players now. He gets a damage buff, which increases his damage. The damage buff can be applied multiple times, and up to 16 buffs are stackable, as follows:
      • First time, apply 1 buff
      • Second time apply 5 buffs
      • Third time apply 10 buffs
    • An area effect, that damages everything except the boss/minion, can be applied to Cerberus, and this stays attached to him for the remaining time of the phase.
    • A debuff, decreasing the speed, can be applied on Cerberus.
      • Effect is removed if the phase changes or if MOON dies.
      • If the minion dies, he applies a damage buff to the “Big Wolf Boss”.
    • The phase ends if all the GHOSTs are dead, (destroyed or killed).

    Amarok with Cerberus

This is same as the initial phase, BUT:
    • Cerberus is trapped in the corresponding zone. He receives a 100% speed loss, and the zone vanishes.
    • Fenris is attacking the players now. He will get a damage buff, which increases his damage. The damage buff can be applied multiple times, and up to 16 buffs are stackable, as follows:
      • First time, apply 1 buff
      • Second time apply 5 buffs
      • Third time apply 10 buffs
    • When GHOSTs spawn, they are poisoned, and thus weakened.
    • The GHOSTs can be healed by the healer of the group.
      • GHOSTs eventually die before they reach the boss, but if the GHOSTs receive enough healing to reach Amarok, they damage him.
      • If a GHOST dies, it makes Amarok stronger.
    • The phase ends if all the GHOSTs are dead, (destroyed or killed).
    General Rules:
    • Players win, if Amarok dies
    • Players lose, if Fenris dies
    • Amarok benefits, if either Fenris or Cerberus is killed by the players
    • Amarok benefits even more, if both minions are killed
    • A killed minion does not respawn during the remainder of the fight
