1 Guild 2 island rule

    In my humble opinion the guild island situation has to be addressed,There should be a number of islands one guild can hold at a time,I think two island per guild is quite enough to fight over and defend.

    The lowest islands should have a noob protection from the top 10 guild's giving lower guilds the chance to fight defend and own and island and the chance to build lower level guild's up and give them some enjoyment rather than one guild taking over every island.

    For the game to go back to anything it was like we need small guilds building big guild's.

    I would be nice on UK server to see more guilds owning islands but the facts are they can't hold the island during the night due to not having enough players online to defend a fleet.

    Once BigPoint decides to add another update to islands to notify all alliance member on attack then guilds can work together to help defend islands and smaller guilds can have a better chance of owning them because their allies will help them when the island is being attacked.

    Guilds should in fact only be allowed to own 10 islands at a cap. Since you can only reap rewards up to 10 islands.

    I'm sure this is not the end for island updates.

    Then along comes another beach party for the privileged few with a newly invigorated Guild to organise a clone attack.

    as far as islands /fleets etc go there getting long in the teeth ..yesterdays news not many are intrested theses days only losers are bigpoint in ammo not been used on worthless islands ;)

    Islands are only useful to:

    • Control the map to use less ammo
    • Island Discount (Debateable if worth it now adays)

    I feel there should be a limit to how many islands a guild can control, however all what will happen is a guild having sub guilds to contol the Islands.

    Alliances dont help and the UK/DE server is way too small to have alliances.

    There's currently no incentive to start new small guilds as players cannot hold islands as mentioned above. The low level cap is a good idea, however can be exploited as players just woudl not level up. The game woudl need to have a constant supply to new players joining. (Tumbleweed)

    To me the items in the market need to be updated to reflect the current items available and not those of yesteryear, cannon wise the old pearl cannons, should be replaced with voodoo's with the aim to get new players to be semi competitive and level up, with BP aim to then sell them Devs, dooms or firestorms.

    It has been and shall always be the guild who has the greater strength in numbers will prevail over the guild islands in both the amount of islands owned and than can be defended. The islands controlled by an alliance member might only have a small membership but they would still be defended by other alliance members or even lost but to be retaken and given to another guild within the alliance. It is surely politics within the alliance who gains control over an island. I remember a few short years ago when Skulls owned each island with GA2 and maintained control of those islands because we were bad mammy jammies and considering we were an all outright war guild no one foolish enough would dare take an island from us unless it was during the night, but as most know, it takes a considerable amount of players to shoot down and set up an island, but don't forget we were a maxed guild of players with fighting capabilities and few DNS. Guild that wish to take an island over better be prepared with time, players and pearls to put up the defenses to hold that island because as the sayin is, here today, gone tomorrow.

    As much as I agree with the majority of this, I must disagree with one line. "Alliances dont help and the UK/DE server is way too small to have alliances."

    I will say that almost every time that my guild and Bam have attacked an island in the last month or two, there have been various guilds defending it. Recently we had 9 players attack the island to start a fight and were met by 10 guilds by the time we left. Now, understandably a lot of these guilds are small and only had one or two members in them, but it did go to show that all the allies were coming to defend the island.

    Apart from that, I agree with everything else you said.

    all theses ally crying farmers cant stand on there own against any other guild ! there only hope is to kiss the feet of any who will help defend there islands in return for farming perks :eek:

    Oh the good ol days..sigh..I remember 4-5 years ago when it was fun to play, now it's greed, bots, allies, cheating play, not to mention pay to play

    As stated in the official announcement.

    Guild islands

    We will reset all guild islands together with the update. This means that also the guild towers will be resetted to become neutral again. Of course, there will be a compensation for what was invested and we will have a downtime of about 30 minutes to compensate everything together with the reset.

    Every guild can own a maximum of 10 guild islands from now on.
