Beta is for testing, not for pvp . . if someone wants pvp, then do it in the game, not in beta

yes that's it corsair, but in the game u should pay more than 1.000Euro to be in average,, we need a game that has no content of money ..

It matters not, the whole idea of beta is to test run new content before being added to the regular game . . if beta is set up as pvp, then the content that isn't being tested, which leads to huge glitch/problems in the game. Not trying to aggravate, just pointing out why beta should remain as pve, with luck other, more experienced players will chime in on this . .

Ok, nay-sayers consider this, what would happen if you sent in your country's armed forces into a war zone with equipment that wasn't field tested prior to combat operations? The answer is filling body bags and wasting tax payer money. Now, the beta side of this game is designed to be the testing bed of new ideas and equipment prior to being added to the regular game in the near future.

Okay, let me put it like this, and there are plenty of other experienced players who can recall all this . . Beta wasn't always PVE. There, it's out in the open . . it was switched to PVE sometime last year, as I recall, mainly because content that was supposed to be tested both for events as well as new content for the game was being introduced as glitched additions.

Events had huge lag, content only worked properly half the time mostly due to constant restarts cos the devs were patching as the events were running, not to mention the devs were also passing out codes in the form of apologies to everyone for a glitched service . . regular content was also wonked in various degrees, which also led to patches and more restarts, just because Beta wasn't a PVE environment, it was PVP, which meant each time Beta was opened, players jumped in and treated it as part of the game formed guilds, took islands, and went after everyone like it was a normal game (mostly those who kept this up were new players who had weak boats and couldn't compete with others in the game) it got so bad, that when Beta closed, the forum would fill up with requests as to when beta would open again . . if you do some digging in the forum, you might still find some of the old spam. Finally someone suggested for Beta to be converted to PVE so that actual testing could take place on a particularly big (and fun) event, and it happened . . It did so well, that PVE is still in operation today.

There was plenty of moaning and whining from those who wanted to play with all the goodies Beta had to offer but now they have to actually test content, not trying to flame, personally I'm glad it's PVE, it means if one is not trying to test the new content, then
they don't need to be signing up as a tester. (Oh yeah . . no, I'm not a Beta tester, but it is my opinion that a tester shouldn't complain if they are put in an environment where they have to do the job they signed up for . . )
