Ahoy Pirates!



Welcome to the Commonwealth – an exciting new update that will be released tomorrow during the day!

Here are some facts to give you a basic overview!

This update offers you:

· 8 new Maps
· 8 new NPCs
· 8 new Monsters
· 4 new Characters
· New guild islands
· 50+ new Quests
· Many new assets including islands, cities and castles​

To be precise, the key features are:

· New visual content
· new pirate levels
· new quests (content)
· new guild island​

The main feature I would like to announce is the new and functional boarding system!

It’s a redesign of the old boarding feature. The new boarding has been broken down to a simple feature so that everybody can easily use it.

Now you can also board NPCs! But it’s limited to the Commonwealth region, so you can’t board NPC below the level 21 maps!

The PvP protection (boarding protection) will be reduced from 60 minutes to 1 minute. This is over all maps 2 - 25. However again note that boarding an NPC can only be done in maps 21 and above. That means if a player boards another player or NPC he has to wait 1 minute before he can board again.

You will need an Officer to be able to board other players.

You can get the Boarding Officer (Commander) which enables boarding when in the damage state (<25% HP) or the Commonwealth Officer (Fierce Commander) which enables boarding when in the burning state (<50% HP).

The use of Equipment is also worth mentioning. That means: If the player has 50 daggers but only 40 Pirates on board, only 40 daggers are going to be used.

Another important update is the introduction of a new currency!

NPCs and quests in these new maps will give a new commonwealth currency as a reward. The new currency is “Crowns”.

With Crowns you can:

· Buy special crewmembers
· Buy buffs
· Complete quests such as pirate quests​

A player is only allowed to have a maximum of 500,000 Crowns.


Guild Island Shop

Only players who are in a guild that are in possession of the guild island where the items are offered, can buy them. There are cool items or buffs like the Polished Muzzles or Voodoo Priest, level 3. Take control of a Guild Island to see what other great items you can get from the new Guild Island Character “Anthony Edward Lancaster”.

New Faction Crew

This new faction crew will make the new region more interesting and challenging. The faction crew is connected to the boarding system.

Every NPC-Ship in the New Region will be boardable and can provide the player with some useful benefits. A normal NPC can be boarded to get access to a crew member which can have a new role, like a Tank or a Damage Dealer! Some of those Crew Members can be hired with the above mentioned new commonwealth currency!

For now this should be enough information, as we really want you to enter the Commonwealth and find out for yourself what’s new. But we would like to give you a hint. Visit the Safe Heaven on Map 17-1 and talk with “Oswald”

The Seafight Servers are up and running again! The New Region “Commonwealth” is ready to be entered. The only thing is, that the old boarding items don’t work with the new boarding system. Therefore we will compensate and book the new boarding items (and crewmembers) tomorrow during the day to all players. Keep developing your account and enjoy the Commonwealth!
