    make a counter that is shown after shooting, say 20 npc's...then the counter is visible.

    It should not be announced, just spent alot of time shooting to get the unchained maruder just to have 5 enemies come and take it.

    It is a pirates game and even if its not announced there's chances it will happen nonetheless dont like it? no one told you to go do it all on your own or better yet go to enemie side test up then go back to your guild..this really seems a worthless discussion to me i dont see an issue with the way it works now;There's a lot far more important things that should actually get looked into instead like idk maybe lag?

    An announcement in only the maps that the admiral can spawn in would be better than the one map radius. If its possible to code it, I would also suggest that the announcement only goes to those that have sunk at least one of the required ships to create the admiral since the previous one spawned. Then only those that have participated and are still in the appropriate maps would get the announcement.

    Obviously, there will still be other ships that show up as they will hear about it in either chat or TS, but it should allow the true participants to have a head start on it.

    Pretty much agree with Bawdwyn here. If you're in a map where an particular addy spawns you get notified. That's how it was before the map change. You still got players sharing/stealing but it seemed more balanced than people teleporting from 10 maps away. I've always played solo and never been in a guild.In years past, I built up my boats castles, skill points, bought ammo, etc. spawning Admiral Lucias. It's not all doom and gloom for some of the players to know you spawned an addy, just more challenging. Which it should be.

    Why is this even a discussion? Isn't time we fixed lag, permanently ban BoTs and maybe improve graphics?

    hes the deal about your admiral announcements ...at the moment everybody in another map can see it spawn ,,,the clown wasting there time to shoot it out cant see the announcement ! i for one would like my ammo back for the 5 ive shot out and never had a annoucement .
    so my view .... remove every announcement for every admiral in every map .

    The problem is that the Revenge draws a crowd regardless, couple that with the low probability of boarding for a Gull and you get a gaming environment that is relatively *edit* for most, except the selected few. If you want to make it more equitable, increase the spawn rate reduce the HP and increase the probability of receiving the Gull, then the advancement of plain old vanilla up front honest players would improve, and possibly the bottom line.

    Well once again the forum moderators pick and chose what comments they want to hear. So here it goes again. It matters little if the Revenge is announced or not. It will draw a crowd regardless. The dropping of the Gull is selective, justified with an explanation of ridiculous odds. The corruption of it has been demonstrated by how some can advance at an observable rate inconsistent with the promulgated information. The solution is relatively simple. The difficulty of the acquisition of the Gull should be consistent with the difficulty of acquisition of any other Quest completion. The spawn rate of the Revenge needs to be increased, considering the number of players seeking the Gull, the drop rate of the Gull should be as advertised, after two boarding's, and selective awarding of the Gull should be eliminated. Regardless of the published justification for it.
