Event Rank Prizes

This event has 50 rank prizes plus 5 random prizes.

Everyone knows that the top around 85-90% of the people that are in the top 50 of any event ranking are on auto pilot 14 - 16 hours a day with a few hours added when they are actually online. My idea would be to scrap the ranks and give out 55 random prizes.

Sadly this means that some of the auto pilots will still win a prize but maybe a lot less of them will while many more of the ordinary players would actually win something.

As it appears that the developers have given up on ever combating auto pilots I think the above would be wholly supported by the players.

It's my opinion that the only players that would object to this are the auto pilots.

Maby for other events but not this one. I have seen pepole with autopilot shoting the small eventships but never the medium or large ones. Considerig how little points the small ships give towards the eventranking no autopilot will get top 50 witout playing the game alot aswell

 

Definitely should be all events. To reward players for taking advantage of auto pilot, at any point regardless of when, is to encourage it. Understanding that not all can or will be caught, any means of containing it would be widely welcomed by all players that play honestly. Keep the ideas coming mini, you seem to be on a roll .

 

ok this thread was started to talk about event ranking and has devolved into talking about players that cheat. I understand that it can be frustrating but the forum is not the place for this. Feel free to contact support if you feel someone is cheating with any proof you may have. Make sure you send in some kind of proof and not just a random accusation so that they have something to start with. As I have already forwarded this idea I will close now.
