flare dot or pearl ammo damage

    What castle skill do you think is better taking first?
    the % damage increase in elite ammo or the dot on the flares?

    Thats really up to you. For instance, a full set (not including League Buff) of Doomhammers 4 normally would give 135 * 391 = 52,785 Damage. With the Elite Ammo Bonus Castle, you would get an extra 8%, so 52785 * 1.08 = 57,007. Thats 4,222 extra damage per shot. (Keep in mind that Dooms 4 are currently the cannon with the highest Elite Ammo Bonus, other cannons shall give you lower amounts, e.g Firestorms 0 = 312 extra damage).

    The Flare DoT Castle gives 7 DoT twice, so thats 391 * 7 * 2 = 5,474 per shot.

    As you can see the Flare DoT gives more damage, however is limited to flares only. The best thing to do is to work out your extra damage if you were to use Elite Ammo Bonus, and then decide if that is worth it for Every elite ammo, or if you just want the extra Flare Damage.

    Thank you Arky,I appreciate your answer!
    But would the elite ammo bonus add to the final damage,or to the base damage?For example if I would be hitting 215 k on event ships with heartbreaker ammo,would it be an % increase on top of that?Or would it be for example the normal amount which would be like 50 k for example?

    Event Ammo is just extra damage on the Cannonball. So if the event was 200% more damage, that is 200% more Ammo Damage (so with heartbreaker that would be 90 * 2 = 180 more damage per cannon).

    Elite ammo bonus is just added to the total damage and can only be reduced by an enemies dodge chance.
