As an item that is virtually redundent because of the reduced numbers of new players coming into the game. Most recruiting is now done 'openly' within Global or by whisper.
Therefore why not redesignate the chatbox headings to 'English Only' (Global), 'Foreign/other' (Guild Search) keeping Guild chat as is.
This would/should reduce the number of language bans and enable/free the mods to watch other game activities such as bots etc etc

There is a couple of problems I see with this is that by giving another chat which can be written in any language. The rules of chat should still apply in this new chat box, and as the EN mods would not understand some/all languages written in that chat this means that this chat needs to be monitored by moderators from every language.

Not only is it going to be confusing for the players using that chat, its going to be confusing for the moderators. Then there is the problem of some words, terms, slang, acronyms having different meanings in other languages. One may say something which in their language is perfectly fine, but in another language could mean something very offensive.

You say that it would free the moderators up to watch other game activities. I fear this is not the case, regardless of if there is another chat room to watch or not, they would still need to watch the main global chat. As you state currently, the Guild Search room is not very active, so it is not currently taking up a lot of moderator time to watch this chat room.

As for the bots, it is well known that the bots need to be caught by the script for a ban to be applied :(

Arky could not have stated this better.

Whatever language a server happens to use as it's designated means of communication, should remain as such. No additional areas for other languages should added as options. This will definitely hinder the chat mods in their ability to monitor chat effectively. Several languages will begin to flow through these chat areas, of which the mods probably won't be able to speak or read. You literally open the door, at that point, for countless infractions to go unchecked.

To expect Sea Fight to "employ" several different language mods (volunteers) on each server is unreasonable.
