Overview/Design:

The “Hunt of the dead October” is an upgraded spawn event (follow-up version of the “Oktoberfest of the Living Dead - Hunt Event” from last year) but with many changes and new mechanics.

· Vial Collector will spawn on the map. Players have to shoot the “Vial Collector” NPCs which will drop poison vials on death.
· Collecting those will give the player a buff, debuff or rewards (pearls/items)
· After killing a certain number of Vial Collectors you have to collect (poison) vials to spawn the Dead October NPC, which has a profitable loot. ​

Attention: Collecting vials can be dangerous J

· The spawn of the Dead October will be announced with a radius of 2.
· The unstoppable item can be a good help for the plaque.​

Event Ammunition:

Much more damage with Voodoo Doom Ammunition to all event NPCs​

Debuffs

Plaque & Contagion Curse (mini Plaque like): Depending on the debuff, the plaques cause:

- Less speed, hit chance, reload time dodge damage and voodoo points.
- Players can be infected from other players

i. The Mini plague finally got a proper name: Today it is called “Contagion Curse”.
ii. Both debuffs give an immunity of 10 minutes against re-infecting.​

NPC loot tables:

Vial Collector

· Shootable with Gold & Pearl ammunition
- Very small chance for an epic win (Pearl drop)
- Leaves Poison Vials (glitter like) that need to be collected to get the Dead October spawned​

Posion Vial

- You can get a buff, e.g. speed/cannon damage buff or a debuff (Plaque & Contagion Curse)
- Also possible to drop an item package (with Crystals, Harpoons, Mojos)
- Small Chance to drop the unstoppable item
- Small Epic win chance (lot of pearls)​

Dead October

· Shootable with Pearl ammunition
- Chance to Pearls by DS
- Chance to drop Unstoppable item
- Small chance to drop October Dread Design by LS or MD​

Event Ranking Balancing

Points are given for MD

- 10 Points for Vial Collector
- 100 Points for Dead October​
