Purgatory’s Call event​

Event from 7th March until 12th March

The “Purgatory’s Call” event features the following:

• Hunt Postmen and Merchant event ships!
• An event black market
• 4 quests (3 normal, one daily quest)
• Ship wrecks
• Event chests

The event will start at 12 noon on 7th March and end at 12 noon on 12th March.

The black market closes at 12 noon on 12th March.

All times are Local Server Time.

The “Purgatory’s Call” event is a small shoot event where you can hunt two event ships, Postmen and Merchant, on sea. The Merchant is an Admiral NPC and spawns after a certain number of Postmen`s have been sunk. The Merchant drops 10 “Lanterns” on death.

Depending on how much damage you cause against the “Postmen” you are rewarded with Pearls.

The player who inflicts the most damage gets also Cursed or Radiant souls.

Depending on how much damage you cause against the “Merchant” you are rewarded with pearls and Cursed or Radiant souls.

Lanterns

In the Lanterns you find many useful items, like Cursed and Radiant Souls, Pyre ammunition, Confetti ammunition and Crystals.​

Ship wrecks

The Ship Wrecks must be shot with harpoons. The player who inflicts the most damage gets many useful items such as Pyre ammunition, Armor plates, Hailstorm, Seers Vision and Crystals.​

Event chests

In the Event Treasure Chests you find many useful items, such as Pyre ammunition, Lionhearts, Simbi Amulets, Dragonfires, Unstoppables, Mojo and Cursed and Radiant Souls.​

Ammunition

Pyre ammunition causes more damage against the event ships.​

Quests

You can accept quests by speaking to The ArbiterLoreena Barrett and Mr. Smythe (on the safe haven). There are 3 new normal quests and one daily quest.

The daily quests are reset each day at 12 noon (local server time).​

Please note that any active event quests are reset at this time.

Description:
The clocks are ticking, captain. I can almost feel the energies of the Map of Forever as its powers are unleashed across the world. The evil from the Realm of Dust that controls the reins of our destiny is growing stronger than ever and it is slowly seeping through the torn fabric of our reality. We need to prepare for the fight of our lives and protect the innocent from harm.

Description:
We will need to call upon those who have aided us before to defend against the evil. I will send word to Sigurd, Cassandra and Ajax to join forces with us. Perhaps some remnants of their immortality still exists within them. I will also send for Ballard, whose scientific knowledge is the best and somewhat regrettably, Mr Smythe as well since Alexandros is still missing. In the meantime, we will need to stop the spread of evil by taking down their messengers!

Description:
The auguries have told me that the people who are trying to corrupt the Map of Forever are none other than those from the Kadurum Y’Ka, that Cult of Salt. These heretics have managed to obtain a source of human salt distilled from the bodies of their victims and this salt grants them their power! Sink the ships trying to bring these supplies into Nautica in order for their victims to truly rest for eternity then report to Mr Smythe!

Description:
No timescale as yet, captain. Merely clearing up tasks whilst I use my resources to prepare for the nightmare which is dawning. When we are finished, you should have all the resources you need to battle our enemy… Well, all our enemies! With that in mind, act decisively and strike with pure precision.
