    Ahoy, Pirates!

First, we would like you to know that we are looking very closely at this incident, and violations of our terms and conditions which are 100% verifiable will be punished accordingly.

Because serious accusations have been made against Bigpoint as a company and specifically against the Seafight team, we would like to offer a statement and clarify a few things:

We place great value on feedback from our community and pay attention to all possible channels. We are also happy to get in contact with our players. Therefore, we generally appreciate invitations to major events where we can meet players.
We did participate in the guild meeting (and beach soccer tournament). We are sorry, if this has created a wrong image, but we had nothing but good intentions. Our employees had a good opportunity to chat with players and gathered some feedback and ideas, that we then evaluated inside the development team and used it to improve the game for all our players.

In the interests of our community, we would also like to address one very important point:
All players are subject to the same rules. At no point is any player getting a special treatment or discount based on his relationship with our company or an employee.
Our company undergoes regular inspections by external financial auditors, to approve, that we are operating within the legal requirements.

The allegations in the video are malicious gossip and don’t prove the use of forbidden programs. Be assured, that we take bot using very serious, constantly work on improving our bot detection and will continue to ban players, where we can prove the usage of bots.

If you suspect players to use bots, please report them to us and we will carefully evaluate the evidence and analyse, whether we have legally justifiable reasons for a ban. If this is not the case, then we have to give the accused the benefit of the doubt.

    Your Seafight team
