    I've seen quite a few serpent's mark but no scorpion's mark. Where are they? I need it for a quest. Thank you.

    Ahoy,

    In the     For Whom the Bell Tolls Event FAQ, the following is said:

    By using the action items “Scorpion's Mark” and “Serpent's Mark” you can spawn the portal event ships, “Scorpion's Mark and “Serpent's Mark”, like “Cursed Light” they spawn every 10 seconds event ships.​

    That means that in order to see a Scorpion's Mark, it needs to be spawned by a Player using the Scorpion's Mark action item. These can be gained in the Black Market, a reward from the Perverted Purity, or a reward from the Cursed Light.
