    Seavengers event

Seavengers Event from August 17th until August 29th 2017

    Seavengers features the following:

    · Group map
    · Three mini games
    · Two event NPCs and an admiral
    · Event quests
    · Event chests
    · Shipwrecks
    · Daily ranking for group map and mini games

    The event will
    · start at 12 noon on August 17th
    · end at 12 noon on August 29th
    · Black market close at the end of August 31st
All times in Local Server Time

During this event you will find two different event ships sailing regularly on the seven seas!

The most common are BLAST BLIMP and ZENITH ZEPPELIN, but if you shoot enough of them,
    EMERALD RAIDER will appear.

The event ships can be found in the maps 2 -30.

BLAST BLIMP (Can be shot with all types of ammunition)
Depending on damage caused => XP
Most damage => 1 Cursed Soul & 1 Ancient Emblem
Last shot => 1 Cursed Soul & 1 Ancient Emblem

ZENITH ZEPPELIN(Must be shot with elite ammunition)
Depending on damage caused=> XP & Ancient Emblems
Most damage caused => Cursed Souls
    Last shot => Cursed Souls
EMERALD RAIDER(Must be shot with elite ammunition)
Depending on damage caused=> XP, Plato’s Coins, Radiant and Cursed Souls. Additionally you have a chance to win ammo (Flare or Shell Shock)
Most damage => 1 Plato’s Coin and chance to win the JADE JUSTICE DESIGN
Last shot => 1 Plato’s Coin and chance to win the JADE JUSTICE DESIGN

Flare ammunition will cause much more damage than other ammunition against the event NPCs and Mini Game.

Shell Shock will cause much more damage than any other ammunition on the Group Map.

Ancient Emblems are tickets to the Single Player Mini Games.

Your coins can be used for hiring helpers in the different Mini Games.

Be aware, that the use of hired help will reduce your final score and rewards for the game.

When you have enough Ancient Emblems, you can visit Captain Ravenbeard in a Safe Haven. He will help you to play one of three different mini games. All three games have a training version and a normal version.

    Training version
The training versions are intended for practice and do not require any emblems, but you won't receive any rewards for these versions.

    Normal version

Using Ancient Emblems, you can buy access the normal version of the mini games.
You can play each mini game as often as you want to, but the price will increase for each time you enter the game.
The better your performance, the higher are the rewards.
"Perfect" rounds will even give points to the daily ranking for mini games.
In the normal versions you need to use elite ammunition!

Flare ammunition will cause the most damage in the mini games.

    Mini Game: Ogygia (Calypso)

The Sirens and Calypso are engaged in a fierce fight.

Your task is to help the Sirens and destroy Calypso.

Calypso is surrounded by four tentacles, which form defense zones that significantly reduce the damage you can cause to Calypso. The tentacles are aggressive and will attack you as soon as you are within their attack range.

After a while, the Sirens will summon their little helper, Undine. She is surrounded by a damage zone which can inflict massive damage to the tentacles close to this zone. Undine will disappear every now and then. You should pay attention to how you can use Undine the best to shoot all tentacles down as fast as possible.

As soon as all tentacles are down, Calypso will attack you once again.

This Ogygia map can of course be completed with the help of hired helpers.
    You have two options:

    1. Two helper ships help you: (Solon's coins)
    Helper ship 1 heals Sirens
Helper ship 2 provides you with a hit chance buff
    2. One helper ship helps you: (Plato’s coins)
    Helper ship 1 heals Sirens

    WARNING!
If the Siren is defeated, you lose the mini game and will be teleported back to the normal sea chart without a reward!

Don’t forget: Helpers will reduce your final rewards and score!

    Mini Game: Kraken's Lagoon (Kraken)

Upon entering the map there are 3 tentacles and a Snapjaw, which is attacking you. You will need to sink any of the tentacles in order to spawn a Kraken. Depending on which tentacle you sunk, the spawned Kraken will have one of three behaviors:

    · Wave behavior:
o Once this Kraken has spawned, waves of minions will spawn.
o If you kill the Kraken, the waves will not stop
    - Bomb behavior:

o Once this Kraken has spawned, 4 tentacles will spawn with it.
o Each tentacle has a zone that protects the Kraken.
o The tentacles cause tons of damage and have a high amount of HP.
o Additional there is a “Bomb”-NPC, called Hindenlurch.
o You should use Hindenlurch in order to kill the Tentacles.
    - Area of effect behavior:
o The Kraken spawns damage zones underneath you.
o You should not stay in these zones since they will cause damage on you.

Mini Game: Hildisvini's Ice Cage (Hildisvini)

Hildisvini is the last of the three bosses in mini games.

He will try to confuse you by playing tricks on you. As soon as you enter the map, you will see Hildisvini on a neutral ice floe in the middle of the map.

If you inflict enough damage to Hildisvini, he will seek a random ice floe to appear for you as one of the 4 elements, (wind (yellow), water (blue), earth (green), fire (red)).

You should then sink the Bjorgolds of the respective elements in the right order.

The Bjorgolds will show you which elements they belong to. As soon Hildisvini begins his little game, you won't be able to attack anymore and a zone will appear beneath him informing you of this.

When Hildisvini is in "game mode", he also can't be stunned (e.g. with smoke bombs). If you sink Bjorgolds in the wrong order, Hildisvini will attack you and the game will restart.

If you sink Bjorgolds in the right order, the zone underneath Hildisvini will disappear and you can launch an attack on Hildisvini again. During the attack phase, Hildisvini will attack you. After a certain number of hit points, Hildisvini will start a new game phase.

A new element will be added to the order per phase.

    Group Map.

Teamwork is required on the group map: Players have to form a group of five members in order to defeat the boss Nesaia.

You can get to the group map by talking to Captain Ravenbeard in a Safe Haven. From there you can enter the group map with your current group, as long as all group members meet the requirements.

You can also register alone and then use the group finder queue. Every player picks a role in the group. The role is shown to every player in a group overview.

The possible roles are shown to every player in the group overview, from where you will be able to choose another role than the given one.

After the group map has been completed, (Nesaia has been overcome), every player will receive the same payout. If you leave the queue or the map, without having completed the group map, you will not receive any reward.

The group of players must work together and sink Nesaia.

The "tank" should try to draw the attention of all enemies to himself, so that all other attackers can easily defeat them. But beware: the more damage an attacker inflicts, the more likely it is to draw attention.

As healers, you should try to keep the tanks from being destroyed – good luck!
Whoever is the center of attention will be exposed to massive damage and will also have to deal with the damage zone, which Nesaia conjures upon him. Because the tank has an "Aggro" bonus, he should always hold Nesaia's full attention.

Nesaia summons eggs on the group map at specific time intervals.
Eggs have to be attacked with regular ammo, (not harpoons). If you destroy the eggs fast enough, there's a chance that a helper ship will appear and attack Nesaia. If the eggs aren't destroyed fast enough, Snapjaws will hatch and will hungrily attack the healers.

Once all the Snapjaws have been taken care of, helper ships will shoot at eggs. There's a chance here that another helper ship will appear.

The helper ships disappear after a certain amount of time. The group map will not be completed before Nesaia has been defeated. Should a player leave the group map too early, no "replacement" player will appear.

On the group map, you inflict more damage to event ships (eggs and turtles) with Shell Shock ammo.

There are four daily rankings. (One for group map, one for each Minigame)
All four rankings are time-based rankings.

Daily ranking for playing the Group map:
    · 1st – 5th place: 8 Firestorm Cannons, 150 Radiant Souls

You can accept Quests by speaking to Alexandros (Alexandros is located only on the Safe Haven next to map 2/1) and Clara Murray.

You need to start at Alexandros because the other Quests require a certain amount of Reputation. During the quest series you will also speak to Rex Harrington, Barnacle Ballard and Loreena Bennett. The last quest chain is optional and just for high level players (at least level 25)

The last quest of each series can be solved more than once and reset every 24 hours (from event start).

You will find Event Treasure Chests and Shipwrecks on maps 2-1 to 30-1.

Event Chests can be opened with Event Keys.
In the Chests you will find many useful items, like Flare Ammo, Legba Amulets, Tritons Benelovence, Pumpkin Power and some other action items. Additionally you also have a chance to receive Solon’s Coin or Mojos.

Shipwrecks must be shot with Harpoons. Items such as Flare Ammo and Crystals can be obtained from the Shipwrecks, if you make the most damage!

Radiant and Cursed Souls can be used to purchase designs, pets and items in the Black Market! You will be able to buy the new ship design MARVEL MAIDEN, but also various buffs, Event keys, Ammunition and more.

The Cursed and Radiant Souls will be exchanged for in-game items on the day after the black market has closed. Specific details will be revealed nearer the end of the event. The Event Keys will also be replaced by normal chest keys at a ratio of 1:1.

The emblems and coins will just be removed from the accounts.
