    • Event treasure chests
    • Shoot ice floes
    Questions and Answers
When will the different event phases take place?

The Winter Calendar starts on 1st December until the 24th December.

The Winter Event will start at 12 noon on 2nd December and will end at 12 noon on 5th January.

The “Njord Saga” phase will take place from 12 noon on 8th December until 12 noon on 14th December.

The “Yuletide” phase will take place from 12 noon on 17th December until 12 noon on 23rd December.

The Black Market will remain open until the end of the day on the 7th January.

Please note that all times are Local Server Time.

What stats will the new Heimdall ship design have?

The powerful Heimdall ship has the following stats:

    • Shining Ruby: +14% Cannon damage
    • Cut Garnet: +10 Harpoon damage
    • Shining Lapis Lazuli: +70,000 HP
    • Gleaming Aquamarine: 13% Damage prevention
How can I get hold of the Heimdall design?

In order to get hold of the Heimdall design you need to collect 4 different pieces of the design. In each of the events you can earn one of these pieces.

What are these 4 different events?

One of the 4 pieces of the puzzle can be found in the Event Treasure Chests – the Event Keys can be bought in the Black Market for Pearls. There are many items available in the chests such as snowmen, mojos and gingerbread men as well as the chance to get 1 piece of the puzzle.

The second event where you can get a piece of the puzzle is the Hildisvini NPC which can be found on a special map only during the Njord Saga Phase, from 8th to 14th December (12 noon, LST)! Hildisvini can be shot with Gold or Pearl ammo. To access this map, players must shoot the Freyja NPC which will drop two “surprise” glitters. By collecting them you will be added to the queue until enough other players are also ready – in a similar way to how the Kraken Map works. Two players will be rewarded with a puzzle piece – the player who causes the most damage and the player who causes the last shot. If you get sunk or leave the map you will not qualify for the rewards.

The third event is Yuletide (a gift chasing event) where a player must hold onto the gift for as long as possible in order to gain points and finish high in the rankings. You are only allowed to pick up the gift on a map of your level range as follows: Map and pirate level 2 – 6, 7 – 12, 13 – 16 and 17 – 20. If you leave your level range you will automatically lose the gift.

Every 24 hours from 12 noon to 12 noon (Local Server Time), the ranking is reset and the top 5 ranked players will each get a piece of the ship design. In addition, 5 random players in the top 100 ranking will gain a piece of the design per day.

The fourth piece can be gained by opening at least 20 of the 24 doors of the Winter Calendar. The calendar can be accessed directly from the sea chart.

What happens if I miss out on getting one of the 4 parts?

Don’t worry! If you miss out on getting one of the pieces of the ship design, you can get them by trading in your collected Gingerbread men per piece. The Gingerbread men can be gained in several ways such as through destroying the Event NPCs and ice floes or purchased in the payment section on certain special days during the event.

How can I get the new pets?

You can get the new pets by trading Gingerbread men for them in the Black Market!

What else will be available in the Black Market?

There will be a whole host of items available in the Black Market where you can trade in your collected Gingerbread men! These items include classic winter ship designs from the past, old and new pets, various buff items and action items such as Snowmen, Candles and Winter Lights!

Will there be anything else on the sea chart during the event?

Yes! During the event, the Hugin and Jörmungander NPCs will sail around all PvP maps. Hugin can be shot using gold ammo, whilst Jörmungander must be shot using pearl ammo. Snowball ammunition will cause extra damage against these as well as all other Event NPCs! Once you sink the Jörmungander NPC, Sleipnirs will spawn.

What rewards can I get from these three NPCs?

If you cause the last shot against Hugin you can get rewards such as Snowball Ammo, Candles or Winterlights. The player who makes the most damage will also get a Gingerbread Man. Depending on how much damage you cause against Jörmungander, you will be rewarded with Gingerbread Men. Depending on how much damage you cause against Sleipnir, you will be rewarded with Pearls.

How can I get the old Jötnar pet?

You can either get the Jötnar pet by trading Gingerbread men for it in the Black Market, or by finding it in one of the “special” glitters dropped by Bjorgold. Once you sink it, it will drop some glitters which contain different rewards including Candles, Snowmen and the Jötnar pet. Snowball ammunition will cause extra damage against these NPCs!

Bjorgold will only spawn during the Njord Saga Phase (not throughout the whole Winter Event).

What stats do the new pets have?

The Pyke pet has a massive 17% harpoon damage and 20,000 Voodoo Points, whilst the Habrok pet has a 10% increased Hit Chance and 25,000 Hit Points!

What rewards can I get from the Event Ranking?

Points can be obtained by making the most damage against any of the Event NPCs mentioned above. At the end of the event the rewards will be as follows:

    • 1st place: 15x Firestorm Cannons, 1x Polished Ruby (Level 16: 16% Cannon Damage), 1x Polished Lapis Lazuli (Level 16: 80,000 Hit Points), 1x Chiseled Sapphire (Level 11: 55,000 Voodoo Points) and 1x Emperor’s Booty Bag
    • 2nd place: 10x Firestorm Cannons, 1x Polished Lapis Lazuli (Level 16: 80,000 Hit Points) and 1x Emperor’s Booty Bag
    • 3rd place: 5x Firestorm Cannons, 1x Polished Lapis Lazuli (Level 16: 80,000 Hit Points) and 1x Emperor’s Booty Bag
    • 4th and 5th place: 1x Polished Lapis Lazuli (Level 16: 80,000 Hit Points) and 1x Emperor’s Booty Bag
    • 4 Random players*: 1x Cut Sapphire (Level 10: 50,000 Voodoo Points) and 1x King’s Booty Bag
    • 1 Random player*: 10x Firestorm Cannons, 1x Cut Sapphire (Level 10: 50,000 Voodoo Points) and 1x King’s Booty Bag.
*who finished in position 1 - 100 in the event ranking. Please note that due to the prizes being given out randomly, players can win more than once!

What will the Ice Floes and Event Chests contain?

Ice Floes, which can be shot using Harpoons, contain a range of items including Snowball Ammo, Candles, Event Keys and Gingerbread Men and are rewarded to the player who causes the last shot. Opening an Event Chest could get you Mojos, Crystals, and Event Key and of course, a piece of the puzzle as mentioned above! You are also guaranteed at least 1 Gingerbread Man upon opening an Event Chest.

What happens with my Gingerbread men and event keys at the end of the event?

If you have any Gingerbread men left at the end of the event they will be replaced with an ingame item to be revealed near the end of the event. The Event Chest Keys will be replaced by normal chest keys.

    Quests

During the Njord-Saga phase and the Yuletide phase the usual daily quests will not be available. Instead, during the Njord-Saga phase there will be different quests available (for both Bjorgold and Hildisvini) where, as with the main daily quests, the last one will be repeatable once each day. During the Yuletide phase, there will also be a different quest, but without a repeatable last quest. After the Yuletide phase is over, the previous daily quests will once again be available.

At the end of the event, once the Black Market has closed, the Gingerbread Men will be exchanged for Ice Ammo at a ratio of 1 Gingerbread Man for 30 Ice Ammo.
